You choose the fur skin of an animal, then fill it with stuffing material, put a wishing star inside it, seal it, make a birth certificate, put it in a special bag and then take it home and care for it. You can also decorate a t-shirt (£2 extra)

Are there just Bears?
No there are a variety of animals such as dinosaurs,dragons,elephants,unicorns etc
Are there any other clothes available for them?
We do not stock other bear clothes as there is not much demand,however if there is a particular type of clothing you would like for your bear you can always ring up in advance and we may possibly be able to order what it is you are looking for.
Do I need any experience at making Bears?
No. It is simple and great fun for all ages from toddlers upwards.
What does it cost?
There are different size animals.
The smaller size are approximately 8inches and 12″which is £10 and the larger size is approximately 16 inches and costs £15 - t shirts are £2 each

Making a Bear sounds exciting, what do I do?
You can pop into our Studio in Loughborough in Leicestershire usually without booking, however, we do advise booking to avoid disappointment during busy periods.

What do I do when I get to the Studio?
Come in and you will be guided to a seat. We will then explain everything to you. You then choose your animal from our display stand and we will provide you with the materials such as stuffing, the wishing star and the birth certificate. When you have finished making your animal, we provide you with a ‘T’ shirt and some fabric paint for you to make your animal’s ‘T’ shirt. When that is dry, you can dress your animal, pop it in your special bag and take it home to give it lots of love and care!

Yes of course we can help you with advice about Making a Bear and painting the ‘T’ shirt.Our aim is for you to relax and enjoy yourself. Children have said how exciting and much fun they have had Bear Making and come back time and time again to add to their collection or simply to buy clothes for their animal.You can buy drinks and snacks to help your experience.
Can I book a group of people in?
Yes you can, we have a range of party packages, but we also cater for social groups, work groups, schools, scouts, guides and brownies. Basically any group you want to get together can be catered for. We have seating for 32 people.We can arrange sessions outside of normal opening hours if you have a group of 6 or more people.
